St. Joseph’s Cathedral fall competition attracts a whole bunch for group enjoyable

The fall competition at St. Joseph’s Cathedral in downtown Wheeling attracted a whole bunch of group members on Sunday afternoon. The occasion, which ran from midday to five p.m., provided quite a lot of actions together with reside music, native crafts, face portray, pumpkin adorning, and a home made bake sale. The cathedral grounds had been bustling with meals vehicles, household video games, and alternatives for group connections.

Vivienne Padilla, chairperson for the parish council, expressed her delight on the occasion’s success. “It’s so nice to see that everybody sees our intent is to gather everybody, to have a good time. I saw two little kids dancing to our live music and that just made my day. It’s just been a really really wonderful thing. Our bake sale is going gangbusters, I worked really hard on the Italian sausage and it’s selling well too. So, we have a lot of parishioners that came out to support us to volunteer, to make and contribute and the community has responded they have come out to accept our sharing of this wonderful bounty.”

Festival organizers famous that the day started as an effort to have interaction with neighbors and improve the parish’s involvement locally. All proceeds from raffles and meals gross sales are directed in direction of parish outreach applications and native charities. The cathedral plans to develop the competition annually, inviting extra distributors and group teams to take part within the celebration.
