Rapides Parish Library internet hosting enjoyable fall and Halloween occasions!

ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) – Halloween is simply three weeks away, and in case you are on the lookout for some spooky issues to do, the Rapides Parish Library has bought you coated.

At the entire 10 branches, the Rapides Parish Library has tons of fall and Halloween actions, and most are free.

It’s on October the 17, from 6 to 8, and we’re going to have Ms. Sylvia Davis come and tell some stories, Brian and Terry come sing some songs, and then we’ll have some time to relax around the grounds. We’ll have trick or treating. We’ll have photo opportunities. We’ll have food for sale, with glow sticks for sale. Face painting and all different types of stuff.”

There are artwork actions, films, portray, Halloween make-up courses, science actions with sweet corn, fall and Halloween festivals, a zombie promenade, the checklist goes on and on.

“We also have our Tiny Art Program,” Jones mentioned. “You can come to any of our 10 branches and pick up a packet, and by October 31, we can display it for you as long as you bring it back and write our name and your phone number on the back of it. We have book Clubs. We have computer classes, exercise classes, and those happen every month, as well as As Young as You Feel. We have Halloween festivals going on on Halloween.”
