CARBONDALE, Ill. – Girls and boys in grades 5-9 can have enjoyable exploring careers in science, know-how, engineering, math and extra through the annual Expanding Your Horizons conference at Southern Illinois University Carbondale on Saturday, Nov. 1.
EYH will run from 9:15 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the SIU Student Center and different areas on campus. Students can have the chance to take part in workshops providing hands-on actions equivalent to making and testing packages to guard eggs from a excessive drop, “piloting” a flight simulator, viewing microbes by means of a microscope and extra.
