Subject journey days a part of fall pageant enjoyable at Jeter Farm

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – Getting on the trailer for a wagon journey is a part of the enjoyable of discipline journey days at Jeter Farm. Co-owner Ned Jeter II says they like to host college teams throughout their annual fall pageant.

“My grandmother started the field trips back in the ’60s. She got diabetes and then gave it up for a while. When my brother and I got out of college, she really encouraged us to start doing this again,” he mentioned.

The tractor journey takes you to the corn maze. Ryker summed it up about proper.

“A couple dead ends and we got out,” he mentioned.

Making it via the corn maze is like stepping out of the wilderness and into the promised land. The open discipline has slides and a trampoline that Lucas actually appreciated due to how bouncy it’s.

There are ziplines, you’ll be able to shoot a basketball, and even take a journey on the pumpkin prepare.

“It was really bumpy, and I like when it goes fast,” Ryker mentioned.

“They love seeing the animals and they like seeing pumpkins. They love the tractors, they love the hayride and then they get that big open field out there to run around,” Jeter defined.

The Jeter Farm Fall Festival runs till October 26. Saturdays from 9 a.m. to six p.m. and Sundays from 12 p.m. to six p.m. Admission is $15. Click here for more information.
