Canada prepares for flight to the Moon: Minister Joly and astronaut Jeremy Hansen encourage future house explorers

Longueuil, Quebec, October 14, 2025 — On October 16, the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Industry and Minister answerable for Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions, will spotlight Canada’s position within the upcoming Artemis II mission, a landmark step in humanity’s return to the Moon. 

She shall be accompanied by CSA President Lisa Campbell and CSA astronaut Jeremy Hansen, who will share particulars on his coaching and preparation for this historic lunar mission with a gaggle of native college students.
