Scranton, Pa.; Oneonta, N.Y. — Marywood University girls’s swimming opened its season with a sweep over Wilkes University and King’s College on Saturday. The Pacers took third place on the Hartwick Relays on Sunday. 

Marywood scored 72 factors at Hartwick. The Hawks completed with 148 factors, forward of Oneonta State’s 76 factors. 

In the tri-match, Emerson Gellert received the 200 free in 2:12.87. 

Adrianna Howell was second place within the 1000 freestyle in 12:55.75. 

Harper Welker made her debut with a 31.88-second win within the 50 again, out-touching her opponent by 12-hundredths of a second.

Catelyn Liser and Camila Gil tied within the 50 breast in 34.6 seconds. Gil handily received the 100 breast in 1:15.03, forward of Lieser’s 1:18.88. Gil was the race winner within the 50 fly in 29.18 seconds. 

Kylee Koratich was the highest finisher within the 100 butterfly, profitable by five-hundredths of a second in 51.24 seconds. She received the 200 IM in 2:33.17.

Molly Englehardt produced a first-place end within the 500 free, clocking in at 5:59.11. 

Marywood received the 200 medley in 2:03.68. Sills, Mangan, Koratich and Englehardt beat out the Colonels by 38-hundredths of a second. The 200 free relay of Gil, Howell, Gellert and Lieser swam to a 1:51.41 win. 

Kyla Harbodin was runner-up in diving with 215.25 factors.

At Hartwick, the 400 medley relay got here in second place. Tori Sills, Catelyn Lieser, Kylee Koratich and Molly Englehardt got here in at 4:38.17. 

The 300 breaststroke relay of Camila Gil, Aubrey Mangan and Lieser was second place in 3:56.24. The 300 butterfly of Emerson Gellert, Bridget Torley and Adrianna Howell got here in with a 3:40.12.

The 800 medley relay of Sills, Mangan, Gellert and Lieser touched in 10:30.93. 

In diving, Kyla Harbodin was third place within the 1-meter with a 184.55. Kenny Sawicky had a 143.35. 

Marywood travels to SUNY Delhji on Saturday, Oct. 25.
