In the early morning hours of October 12, 2025, Jeanne Marie (Mercer) Clark, 91, left us to reunite along with her late husband Roland Maxwell (Max) Clark in Heaven. We think about he greeted her on the Pearly Gates along with his arms open broad and his large heat smile. After being collectively for 70 years, nearly 2 years aside felt method too lengthy for her!

Jeanne was born on April 5, 1934 in Sewickley, PA to the late Thomas Mercer and Mayme Merchant Mercer,   She was preceded in dying by her sister Martha and her brothers Calvin, Chuck, and Bob.

Her household ultimately moved to Centerville the place she met Max. The couple fell in love, and on May 15, 1954 they have been married at Centerville Methodist Church.  They welcomed their daughter Kathleen Clark in November of 1956.  Kathy lived in Centerville and for a few years lovingly helped handle them.   Kathy now lives in Meadville.   Max and Jeanne accomplished their household with the start of their son Roger Clark in March of 1959.  Roger married Mary Jane (Nosko) Clark they usually dwell in Erie.  Together they gave Jeanne the 2 grandchildren she beloved a lot.  Grandson Jeffrey Clark and spouse Ashley (Jackson) Clark dwell in Dallas, Texas.  Granddaughter Emily (Clark) Cousineau and husband Dr. Vincent Cousineau Cote dwell in Saratoga Springs, NY.  Last fall, Emily and Vincent welcomed Jack Maxwell Cousineau, Jeanne’s first Great Grandchild, who she lovingly referred to as “Jackie”. 

Jeanne beloved Centerville and spent a few years because the Borough Secretary and the Borough Tax Collector, whereas additionally serving to handle the Clark Family’s West Bridge Dairy Farm.  She was a member of Centerville United Methodist Church the place she volunteered many hours. She performed an essential position yearly for Centerville’s beloved Strawberry Festival. Jeanne and Max have been proud caretakers of Sunnyside Cemetery.   

Jeanne beloved her grandchildren and attending their actions. Her shiny pink earmuffs have been a staple within the crowds and lots of Pitt hockey video games have been gained when Jeanne would name for Jeff to “chuck it in there!” earlier than he scored a aim.
