Non-commercial Requests

Persons wishing to coordinate an organized picture shoot or take group photographs for non-commercial functions should submit a request by click here to fill out the form. Allow at the very least one week earlier than the filming date. After acquiring permission, which can be granted instantly or after session with different employees, the next tips needs to be noticed:

• Taking images and/or videotaping shouldn’t disrupt patrons or employees
• Photographs/movies shouldn’t be taken of patrons or employees except they’ve granted permission
• Photography ought to solely happen in public library areas
• Optimally, filming needs to be temporary. Study or stack areas shouldn’t be cordoned off for prolonged filming particularly in the course of the educational phrases, except permission from the Libraries has been obtained. Commercial Requests

Commercial filming or pictures requires coordination with the University Communications’ Office of Brand Management and Trademark Licensing. Visit the UO Communications website for particulars and speak to data. 

Model Release Forms

If your video or pictures focuses on a single individual or a small group, they need to full a mannequin launch kind. If the individual signing a launch is beneath the age of eighteen, a dad or mum or guardian should cosign the discharge. The kind is your means of proving that the individual is offering their picture, paintings, or quote willingly and doesn’t require further compensation.
