N-Dream accelerates In-Car Gaming with KPIT acquisition – Venturelab

Swiss startup N-Dream, creator of the cloud gaming platform AirConsole, is accelerating its automotive ambitions after KPIT Technologies acquired an 88.9% stake within the firm for EUR 16.35 million.

AirConsole, N-Dream’s cloud gaming platform, brings cell video games to TVs, set-top bins, PCs, and more and more, vehicles. By 2023, the platform hosted over 180 video games and engaged greater than 16 million gamers. Building on this success, N-Dream expanded into automotive gaming with titles like UNO Car Party, Pictionary Car Party, and PAC-MAN™ Championship Edition, now featured in automobiles from BMW/Mini, Audi, VW, and Porsche.

The EUR 16.35 million acquisition by KPIT allows N-Dream to combine its platform with superior automotive software program providers, creating new in-car experiences. CEO Anthony Cliquot and the management group stay in place, with plans to double the 20-person workforce over the subsequent yr.

This deal positions N-Dream to broaden in-car leisure, making cloud-based gaming accessible to drivers and passengers globally.
