Ramblers Conclude Purdue Fall Invite

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Rambler males’s golf crew wrapped up a two-day occasion at Purdue Tuesday afternoon. Loyola Chicago competed within the Purdue Fall Invitational on the par-72, 7,465-yard Kampen-Cosler course.
 
“We didn’t have our best stuff this week as a team but there were certainly positives to take away from the week,” stated head coach Peter Pougnet. “We are looking forward to improving on a short week before we finish the fall season at Dayton.”
 
Sebastian Kasun led the Ramblers, ending +2 after three rounds. He scored 218 (70-74-74) to tempo the pack and tie for 20^th. He led the crew with 11 birdies, which tied 16^th within the match.
 
Next up for the Ramblers was Dori Lee who tied for 23^rd on the charts. He posted a three-round rating of 219 (76-70-73). He was additionally second on the crew with eight birdies.
 
Zach Mulhearn trailed behind in 54^th place and a rating of 227 (757-75-77). The senior golfer tallied a gap in a single on the 13^th gap of the ultimate spherical.

“I’m super proud of Jackson and his round today to tie for his first college win,” continued Pougnet. “He’s been putting in a lot of work and he just continues to get better. Excited to see how he continues to develop.”
