Wolverines to Get Again in Motion at Nuttycombe Invitational

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — The University of Michigan girls’s cross nation staff will journey to Madison, Wis., for the Nuttycombe Invitational hosted by Wisconsin on the Thomas Zimmer Championship Cross Country Course on Friday (Oct. 17). The 6K B Race will begin at 10:30 a.m. CT, whereas the championship race will begin at 11:50 a.m. CT.

Notes

• Sixteen Wolverines are set to compete in Madison, Wis., with Brooke Johnston anticipated to make her season debut.

• U-M completed twenty third on the Gans Creek Classic hosted by Missouri on Sept. 26, tallying 533 factors.

• In the gold race, Stephanie Bertram led the way in which with a 61st-place end (20:26.9) and shaved greater than 90 seconds off her private finest.

• Anjali Hocker Singh was the second Wolverine to complete, putting 69th with a private finest time of 20:31.0. Hocker Singh improved on her earlier private finest by 20 seconds.

• In the black race, Natalie VanOtteren led for the Wolverines with a Twenty second-place end and a personal-best time of 21:14.1. Freshman Caroline Beiting made her debut for the Maize and Blue, putting 74th (22:03.2).

• After the Nuttycombe Invitational, the Wolverines will head to Dexter, Mich., for the EMU Fall Classic on Oct. 24 to shut out the common season.
