Grow Clay County to Host “Screams for a Cause” Halloween Enjoyable-Run Benefiting New Life Center

Grow Clay County invitations the general public to a hauntingly enjoyable occasion alongside the Zoo Walking Trails when it hosts “Screams for a Cause,” a 1-mile and 5K family-run on Saturday, October 25^th. All proceeds from this occasion will profit the brand new Multi-Generational Life Center.

Beginning at 6:00 p.m., racers will run alongside the strolling trails and luxuriate in stops alongside the best way.  Kathryn Doster-Tipsword, Event Coordinator, stated folks locally had been asking about including extra working occasions.

“We had somebody reach out to us and say that before the year ended, they wanted to host another run, since we usually only do the one for Piotique.”

“We have had many people in the community ask if we would add more runs to our events. So, this is kind of a perfect opportunity.”

Event sponsors could have tables arrange alongside the path that includes Halloween-themed treats and extra. The Tiger Speech and Drama group may also add a bit spookiness to the run.

“Most of the tables are going to be our sponsors, and they will give out Halloween goodies along with promotional items.”

“Some of them will have candy, some of them will have glow sticks, and then whatever anybody else decides to bring.”

Participants are inspired to decorate in Halloween costumes; prizes will likely be given for the most effective costumes.
