Obituary for Paul J. Macatee

Paul J. Macatee, Jr., 83, of Aston handed away peacefully on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Fair Acres Geriatric Center in Media, Pennsylvania. Born in Darby, Pennsylvania, he went to Msgr. Bonner High School and was a graduate of Lincoln Prep.

Paul was a artistic particular person with a deep appreciation for pictures. He was an expert photographer for 30 years doing weddings, household portraits, and events.

He was a member of the Tri State Jazz Society and in addition took photos of the artists who carried out there.

He loved ballroom and polka dancing and carried out in reveals and competitions along with his spouse, Barbara. He favored doing card methods, dabbling in magic, taking part in the guitar, and amassing mannequin automobiles.

He proudly served our nation within the United States Air Force, the place he educated as a welder. Visitation: Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 3255 Concord Road, Aston, Pennsylvania, 19014.

Funeral Mass: Thursday, October 23, 2025 at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 3255 Concord Road, Aston, Pennsylvania, 19014.

Interment: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 Sproul Road, Springfield, PA 19064.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Paul’s honor to the Fisher Center for Alzheimer’s Research Foundation.
