HAMPTON, Va. — The University of Richmond swimming and diving group competed within the Richmond Duals on the Hampton Virginia Aquaplex on Friday afternoon. Facing Atlantic 10 opponents, the Spiders had 17 prime three finishes to put second with 638 factors.

In the 400 medley relay, Richmond’s relay squads completed second and third. Hannah Wieczorek, Gabbie Primiano, Mia Gregory and Erin Budde (relay A) completed second with a time of three:52.36. Caroline Weldon, Presley Baber, Kaitlyn Martin and Kaitlyn Bauer (relay B) completed third with a time of three:53.04.

In the 200 free relay, Richmond’s A relay completed first. Swimming the relay have been Amare, Baber, Krichev and Hughes, ending at 1:35.58. Relay B completed sixth. Swimming the relay have been Primiano, Lydia Sturgeon, Weldon and Wieczorek, ending at 1:39.47.

In the 400 IM, Lena Amare completed second with a time of 4:24.63. Natalie Stuart completed fourth with a time of 4:35.94.

In the 200 free, Bauer completed third with a time of 1:54.16. MaryAgnes Smith completed fifth with a time of 1:56.72. In the 50 free, two Spiders completed within the three and 4 spots. Baber (third) completed with a time of 23.97. Julia Krichev (fourth) completed with a time of 24.30. In the 100 free, Krichev completed second with a time of 53.53. Budde adopted, ending fourth with a time of 53.80.

Placing first within the 50 breast, Primiano completed with a time of 29.74. Baber completed intently behind with a time of 29.96, putting second. In the 200 breast, Primiano took house one other first-place victory with a time of two:19.63.

In the 200 fly, Budde completed second with a time of two:10.51. In the 50 fly, Amare took first with a time of 25.56.

Wieczorek completed second within the 50 again with a time of 26.75. Weldon completed third with a time of 27 flat. In the 200 again, Amare positioned second with a time of two:03.32.

In the space portion, Bauer completed second with a time of 5:05.49. Stuart completed third with a time of 5:05.62. Carys Edgar completed sixth with a time of 5:15.50.

The Spiders hit the pool tomorrow in a twin meet towards Duquesne at 10 a.m. on the Hampton Virginia Aquaplex.
