Arizona Wins in 4 Units at Houston

HOUSTON, Texas – The Arizona Wildcats took down the Houston Cougars in 4 units (25-18, 20-25, 26-24, 25-19) on Sunday afternoon. Arizona improved to 11-6 (5-2 Big 12) with the win.     

The Wildcats dominated with 11 blocks and 10 service aces. Jordan Wilson led Arizona’s offense with 19 kills and recorded a profession excessive 24 digs to steer the protection. Ana Heath and Sydnie Vanek had 5 blocks every whereas Avery Scoggins and Journey Tucker each tallied three blocks.

The Cats used three blocks to maintain the Cougars to a .171 hitting proportion, led by Heath and Tucker who had two blocks every.  

Arizona will head to Ames, Iowa to tackle Iowa State on Thursday, October 23 earlier than returning dwelling to host Arizona State on Saturday, October 25.
