Glaser and Piku Rating in Loss to No. 4 Cornell

The Big Red struck first at 12:14 of the opening body and carried a 1-0 lead into the intermission. Cornell added to its benefit halfway via the second interval regardless of a 10-shot push from the Eagles, then opened the third with back-to-back tallies — together with a power-play objective — to stretch the margin to 4-0.

Boston College broke via at 9:18 of the ultimate body when Lauren Glaser netted her first objective of the season. Just beneath six minutes later, Tricia Piku recorded her first profession tally off a feed from Ava Thomas to carry the Eagles inside two.

Goaltender Grace Campbell turned apart 39 pictures, whereas Cornell’s Annelies Bergmann made 24 saves to earn the win. The Big Red outshot BC 46-26 and went 1-for-5 on the ability play. The Eagles completed 0-for-2 with the skater benefit.

The Eagles fall to 3-4-0 on the season and can proceed non-conference motion subsequent week.
