Swimming impresses at Mars Hill

MARS HILL, NC – The Lenoir-Rhyne swim groups competed in opposition to Mars Hill and King University in a tri-swim meet on Saturday afternoon. Men’s swimming collected their first two wins of the season with a decent 102-98 victory in opposition to Mars Hill and concluded the night with a dominant 117.50-80.50 win in opposition to King. On the opposite facet, ladies’s swimming dropped their first meet in opposition to Mars Hill 118-86 however responded with a 135-68 win in opposition to King. 

Leading the best way for the lads was Renato Herran, who received the 100 Yard Freestyle, and Christopher Forsey, who completed first within the 100 Yard Breaststroke. Christopher Glebus completed third within the 100 Yard Backstroke with a time of 55.03 and helped the Bears place second within the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay.

Addison Bartemeyer led the cost on the ladies’s facet with two top-five finishes within the 200 Yard Freestyle (1st) and 100 Yard Butterfly (third). Olivia DeRosier received the 200 Yard IM and helped the Bears place first within the 200 Yard Medley Relay with a time of 1:55.31.
