Toreros Piece Together Strong Exhibiting at MPSF Open Water

LONG BEACH – Competing within the larger Los Angeles space for the second time in three weeks, the San Diego swimming and diving workforce competed within the MPSF Open Water meet at Long Beach on Saturday morning at Marine Stadium. 

24 whole San Diego swimmers raced throughout two separate occasions throughout Saturday’s open water competitors, with the Toreros solidly inserting within the 2000 meter freestyle relay with the quartet of Milan Bever, Alison Diehl, Olivia Anfinson, Erin Kau who turned in eight place in a race of 17 faculties.

Individually, the Toreros secured some scrappy performances within the girls’s 5,000 freestyle occasion from sophomore Sydney Wilson who positioned highest for USD at No. 26 with a time of 1:06:03.00, and junior Skylar Bruner tied for No. 36 with a time of 1:07:42.00.
