#19 Vols Place Sixth at Fallen Oak Collegiate Invitational

BILOXI, Miss. – The No. 19 Tennessee males’s golf group capped off its fall season with a sixth-place exhibiting on the Fallen Oak Collegiate Invitational as Lance Simpson and Josh Hill positioned inside the highest 25. 

UT went 6-under in its closing spherical to shoot 14-under total. 

Simpson as soon as once more led the way in which individually after tying for ninth place with a 6-under complete. Simpson surged up the leaderboard within the closing spherical after logging a 5-under 67. 

Hill tied for thirteenth with a three-round complete of 4-under. He recorded a 69 within the closing spherical to safe the top-15 end. 

Competing individually, Chase Kyes tied for twenty third with a 2-under exhibiting after a spherical three 71. 

Jackson Herrington and Reed Lotter every completed even-par total for the occasion to tie for thirty fourth. 

UT’s closing golfer, Luke Smith, tied for 54th. 

UP NEXT: Tennessee’s spring season will tee off on Feb. 9 on the Puerto Rico Classic at Grand Reserve Golf Club.
