The winners of this 12 months’s Social Worker of the Year Awards have been unveiled at a ceremony final week.

Gold and silver awards have been handed out throughout 18 classes masking observe, schooling, analysis, management, expertise and selling social justice, alongside the general social employee of the 12 months prize.

The latter went to Sophia Hussain, from Redbridge council’s Reach Out home abuse service, which supplies sensible and emotional help to victims and survivors and their kids.

Following the ceremony, charity the Social Work Awards, which organises the scheme, mentioned: “A huge thank you to all our sponsors, judges and guests for another incredible evening. The Social Worker of the Year Awards celebrate the best of social work.”
