UTRGV Student-Athlete of the Week: Manou Meulebeek

RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics introduced on Monday that sophomore Manou Meulebeek, of the swimming & diving workforce, is the UTRGV Student-Athlete of the Week.
 
In the Vaqueros dwelling opener towards Incarnate Word Saturday, Meulebeek continued her scorching streak on the boards, qualifying for the NCAA Zone “D” Diving Championships and successful the 1-meter springboard with a rating of 265.72.
 
Meulebeek then reset her faculty report with a dominant 319.50 on the 3-meter springboard to brush the diving occasions for the Vaqueros.
 
Earlier this season, Meulebeek certified for the NCAA Zone “D” Diving Championships within the 3-meter springboard. She will compete on the zone championships in back-to-back years within the 1- and 3-meter springboard, after qualifying as a freshman final season.
 
There are 5 zone meets throughout the nation the place divers will compete to qualify for the NCAA Championships. For 2026, the NCAA zone qualification rating for girls’s diving is ready at 265 for the 1-meter springboard and 280 for the 3-meter springboard.
