Males’s Golf Locations Fourth at Quail Valley Collegiate Invitational

VERO BEACH, Fla. (October 20, 2025) – Northwestern males’s golf claimed their third straight top-5 staff end of the season, taking fourth place on the Quail Valley Collegiate Invitational in Vero Beach, Florida.

The Wildcats completed the occasion at 24-under-par, concluding with a staff rating of 840 (273-279-288). Sunday’s remaining spherical of 273 marked the bottom spherical of the season to date for the ‘Cats at 15-under.

Daniel Svärd paced the ‘Cats at nine-under-par with a rating of 207 (66-69-72) to position in a share of eighth for his third straight top-10 end of the season. Svärd completed at par or higher in all three rounds and matched his profession low with a six-under 66 in his first spherical.

Joining Svärd within the top-25 had been Rowan Sullivan and Jeremy Chen, who completed at six and 5 below respectively. Sullivan matched his Northwestern low-score with a five-under 67 in his first spherical whereas Chen picked up his second top-25 end of the season.

Joining the trio in crimson figures was Monty Holcombe, with the first-year placing ahead his greatest 54-hole effort of the season to date with a three-under 213 (72-69-72). Holcombe completed at par or higher for all three rounds, highlighted by a three-under 69 in his second spherical.

Mark Gazi fired a one-under 71 in his opening spherical adopted by an even-par 72 in his second spherical whereas Archie Finnie positioned in 83^rd as a person.
