Males’s Tennis Finishes Play at ITA Northeast Regional Championships – Penn State

PRINCETON, N.J.- The Penn State males’s tennis group concluded a powerful weekend of play on the ITA Northeast Regional Championships hosted by Princeton University from Oct.16-21.  

Six Nittany Lions represented the group at Princeton. Sophomore Reiya Hattori made it by means of two rounds of the singles qualifying bracket, carrying him into the singles essential draw. He defeated Penn’s Parashar Bharadwaj 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 within the first spherical of the principle draw.  

Kyle Chesman, Christos Glavas, Michael Wright and David Lindsay all discovered victories within the singles comfort rounds.  

In the primary spherical of doubles, Hattori and Lindsay defeated Temple’s duo of Erden Er/Pranav Nemani 8-7 (7-5). Chesman and Glavas defeated Noah Potts/Blake Lorenzo from St. Francis, 8-0. 

The Nittany Lions now flip their sights to the ITA East Sectional Championship in Chapel Hill, N.C., from November 6-9.
