Twitter / X reveals prime video games, prime gaming hashtags of 2024

New knowledge has been launched which reveals the highest video games and prime hashtags of 2024 on Twitter / X.

This comes from the Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show 2025. Aaron Kobes, head of gaming for APAC at X, shared the data throughout a presentation.

For Nintendo particularly, there’s not a lot by way of the highest video games. However, there are some Nintendo-related franchises / titles right here, together with Final Fantasy, Fortnite, and Minecraft.

Hashtags is the place issues get a bit extra attention-grabbing. Nintendo Switch is available in at #5 whereas Pokemon is a few spots down under that.

Going into extra basic dialogue, gaming is without doubt one of the hottest subjects on Twitter / X with 905 billion impressions (solely sports activities had extra). Japan was the highest marketplace for quantity adopted by the United States in second and Korea in third.
