Women’s Rowing Closes out Competitors on the Head of the Charles Regatta

WASHINGTON – Georgetown University’s girls’s rowing crew wrapped up competitors on Sunday morning on the Head of the Charles Regatta in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The Hoyas raced within the Club 4+, the Club 8+, and the Lightweight Women’s 8+.

Finishing in the top 3 has been a goal of ours for a few years so we are excited to see our team moving in the right direction. “The open women had an exciting weekend of racing in Boston led by strong rows and solid coxswain courses to result in two finishes that guarantee a return to HOCR in 2026. Women’s Club 8+:
Georgetown A Lilly Bartilucci (Cox), Anna Hemmerle, Caroline Steve, Sara Wasserman, Sydney Thompson, Alex Junko, Caden Collins, Ellie Power, Abigail Camp – Twelfth-place end with a time of 16:57.984.
 
Lightweight Women’s 8+:
Georgetown A Juliet Rotondo (Cox), Molly McDonnell, Bella DeLeo, Eleonora Fasoli, Austin Forrester, Nicole Iriza, Cara Appleberry, Isabel Ramirez-Knott, Ella Aherne – Third-place end with a time of 16:38.6.
