Household Enjoyable Day: Native American Heritage Month

Experience the vibrancy of Native American Heritage Month at this
dynamic occasion honoring Indigenous cultures, the place women of all ages
are invited to discover tradition, creativity, and group via
hands-on actions impressed by Indigenous traditions. Hosted in
collaboration with Colorado Mesa University’s Native American Student
Alliance, this occasion honors the sweetness and resilience of Native
cultures in a joyful, family-friendly setting.

Activities Include:

• Beaded Bracelets – Discover the artwork of beadwork and create
  your personal significant design.
• Weave a Turtle – Craft a
  turtle symbolizing knowledge, longevity, and connection to the
  Earth.
• Ribbon Skirt Design – Learn concerning the cultural
  significance of ribbon skirts and design your personal.
• Sunflower Maple Cookies – Enjoy a candy deal with impressed by
  conventional substances.
• Corn Husk Doll Building – Make
  your personal corn husk doll and study its cultural roots with
  CMU’s Native American Student Alliance.

Celebrate heritage, creativity, and girlhood in a welcoming area
crammed with storytelling, pleasure, and studying.

• This will not be a drop-off occasion. All women should be accompanied
  by their caregiver or attend with their troop. Adult security ratios
  should be adopted. Please confer with Volunteer Essentials.
• This is a household occasion. Any relations of a present lady
  scout member might attend.
• Event capability may be very restricted.
  Registration will shut when capability is met.
