NDSU Ladies’s Golf Finishes Fifth at Powercat Invitational

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Madi Hicks led the North Dakota State ladies’s golf crew to a climb one spot and end in a tie for fifth place on the Powercat Invitational at Colbert Hills Golf Course on Tuesday afternoon.

Hicks (80-74-75—229) was only one stroke off her finest spherical of the occasion at +3. The senior added two extra birdies and 11 holes at par to climb 5 spots up the leaderboard and end simply exterior the highest 10 in a tie for twelfth place out of 88 golfers at +13 general.

The Bison will return to motion in a single week on the Clash at Boulder Creek. The match, hosted by Northern Arizona, will likely be held at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Henderson, Neveda on October 27-28.
