Blue Devils to Shut Fall Season at Landfall Tradition

DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke ladies’s golf workforce is ready to shut the autumn marketing campaign this weekend because the Blue Devils journey to Wilmington for the Landfall Tradition, which will likely be contested on the 6,106-yard, par-72 Country Club of Landfall’s Pete Dye Course from Oct. 24-26.

Along with the Blue Devils competing this week, there will likely be Alabama, UCF, Furman, Houston, Illinois, Indiana, Kent State, Kentucky, Maryland, NC State, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Virginia Tech, SMU, South Carolina, Wake Forest and UNC Wilmington.

Each workforce will play 18 holes every day, with tee instances Friday and Saturday beginning at 8:30 a.m.  Sunday’s remaining spherical will function a shotgun begin at 8:45 a.m.

Duke will journey a lineup that features graduate pupil Andie Smith, junior Katie Li, sophomore Carla De Troia, sophomore Anna Cañado Espinal and freshman Rianne Malixi.  Freshman Avery McCrery will compete as a person.

The Blue Devils compete within the Landfall Tradition for the twelfth time at school historical past.  The Blue Devils have claimed the workforce title on 4 events (2023, 2018, 2017, 2016).  Duke has turned in top-five placements in eight of its 11 appearances within the occasion.  Three totally different Blue Devils have claimed the person title – Virginia Elena Carta (2018), Gina Kim (2018) and Ana Belac (2017).

Last 12 months, Duke turned in a second-place end with a 1-under, 863.  Li (fifth), Cañado Espinal (T9th) and Smith (T9th) all carded high 10 finishes in 2024

Duke will open play Friday morning, starting at 10:09 a.m., together with UCF and South Carolina.  McCrery will tee off at 10 a.m.
