Clifton Named to SEC Community Service Team

NORMAN — OU girls’s soccer senior defender Cassie Clifton was introduced as Oklahoma Soccer’s 2025 Southeastern Conference Community Service Team consultant as introduced by the league Thursday, Oct. 23. 

Clifton has volunteered her time at Cleveland Elementary School, providing her time with the college and bodily schooling lessons. She has additionally partnered with an area youth soccer group, Celtic Recreational League, whereas internet hosting soccer clinics within the better Oklahoma City space. Clifton can be a SAAC member and group captain.

On the pitch Clifton has appeared in 70 matches, beginning 60 whereas logging over 5,200 minutes. She was a 2024 SEC Academic Honor Roll recipient and earned a spot on the 2023 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. 

The Community Service Team acknowledges a student-athlete from every faculty for every respective SEC sponsored sport who has given again to their neighborhood in a superior approach.
