Swimming and diving hosts residence meet Saturday

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – On Saturday, the University of Evansville swimming and diving groups will sq. off in opposition to USI and Indiana State contained in the Deaconess Aquatic Center. Start time is ready for 1 p.m. Gates will open one hour previous to the meet and admission is $7.
 
This marks the fourth meet of the season for the Purple Aces who competed in a twin meet at IU Indy final weekend. The males picked up staff wins over Valparaiso and USI.
 
UE’s males accomplished the day with a number of victories starting with Joseph Capo’s effort within the 200-free. He bested the competitors with a time of 1:41.63. Mewbourne adopted her victory with a high 5 within the 100-breaststroke. An effort of 1:07.72 noticed her end fourth.
 
In the 400-medley relay, Evansville took second place as Jillian Giese, Grace Moody, Chin, and Mewbourne swam a 3:57.09 to complete lower than one second behind IU Indy. Moody swam a 2:08.05 within the 200-backstroke on her strategy to a 3^rd place effort. Mia Pesavento, Moody, Mewbourne, and Chin got here in third place within the 400-free relay. They completed in a stable 3:38.50.
