CARBONDALE, Ill. – Southern Illinois’ ladies’s swim and dive staff spent Friday and Saturday in Champaign, taking over in-state rivals Illinois and Illinois State. While the Salukis fell to the Illini, 212-134, SIU picked up a 215-129 win over the Redbirds.

After podium finishes within the 200-yard medley relay and the 1000-yard freestyle, SIU picked up its first win of the day when Susana Hernandez took first within the 200-yard freestyle.
