Girls’s Golf Completes Fall Season At Lehigh Invitational

BEDMINSTER, N.J. – The Providence College girls’s golf staff accomplished play on the Lehigh Invitational on Sunday, Oct. 26 at Trump National Golf Course in Bedminster, N.J. The Friars positioned thirteenth with a rating of 690 (+114). Sophomore Gwendolyn Yarnall (East Aurora, N.Y.) led Providence, tying for thirtieth general with a two-round whole of 160 (+16).

Lehigh University received the staff title with a rating of 609 (+33) over two rounds. Providence carded a 342 within the opening spherical and a 348 within the last spherical.

Yarnall posted rounds of 79 and 81 for a 160 (+16) and recorded three birdies through the match. Freshman Myla Bisceglia (Rye, N.Y.) led all Friars with 4 birdies, whereas junior Emma Peifly (Madison, N.J.) made her collegiate debut this weekend.
