DENVER, Colo. (Oct. 26, 2025) – The Wyoming Cowgirls closed their fall slate with one other robust day of play Sunday morning on the Colorado Cup hosted by the University of Denver. The Cowgirls received 5-of-6 singles matches on the day towards Weber State and took two of the three doubles contests.
“Overall, it was a good weekend,” stated Head Coach Dean Clower.
“I felt like the girls competed hard and did a lot of things well all weekend long. We will get home and work on getting healthy!”
Wyoming received 4 of its singles matches in straight units as Silver Bijlsma, Eugenia Ceinos, Anastasiia Kochelaevskaia and Ruby Young all received in two units. Dilnaz Mashabayeva defeated her opponent in three units.
In doubles, the groups of Bijlsma and Ceinos and Kochelaevskaia and Mashabayeva picked up wins collectively.
The Cowgirls will resume play this winter as they open their twin slate January 15 at Oklahoma and towards Tarleton State.
