Berry and Synsvoll Earn Summit League Weekly Honors

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.  – University of Denver ladies’s swimming and diving’s Samantha Synsvoll and Savanna Berry had been named this week’s Kwik Star Summit League Peak Performers of the Week, the league workplace introduced on Tuesday.
 
Synsvoll earned her third occasion title in as many meets of her freshman season on Friday, and her first within the 200 free. She led Denver’s swimmers within the double twin at Colorado State and Colorado Mesa, taking first within the 10-swimmer area within the 200 with a time of 1:51.75. Synsvoll additionally completed third within the 200 IM (2:09.18) and fourth within the 200 again (2:05.77).
 
Berry earned her second occasion win of the marketing campaign on the 1-meter board with a rating of 263.80. She then adopted that up with a third-place end on the 3-meter board, tallying a rating of 249.90. The weekly award was Berry’s second of the season and the fourth of her profession.
 
UP NEXT:
Denver will depart the state for the primary time subsequent weekend. Denver’s ladies will head to Washington State on Friday (4 p.m. MT) and Idaho on Saturday (3 p.m. MT), whereas the Denver males journey to Cal Baptist for a two-day double twin with Cal Baptist and UCSB.
