MW provides males’s soccer, males’s swimming and diving

Two further Grand Canyon athletic packages will name the Mountain West dwelling starting within the 2026-27 tutorial 12 months, because the convention introduced the addition of males’s soccer and males’s swimming and diving on Wednesday.

For 2026-27, the convention provides its twentieth and twenty first sponsored sports activities and alters baseball’s look with membership lineups that function:

• Men’s soccer: Air Force, UC Davis, GCU, San José State, UNLV, Utah Tech
• Men’s swimming and diving: Air Force, GCU, Hawai’i, UNLV, Wyoming
• Baseball: Air Force, GCU, Hawai’i, Nevada, New Mexico, San José State, UNLV, Utah Tech

GCU males’s soccer has known as the WAC dwelling since 2013 and continued taking part in there as an affiliate member within the 2025 season. The Lopes have made NCAA Tournament appearances in 2018, 2020 and 2021, together with two at-large berths throughout their time within the convention.
