McLean Named to Katrina McClain Award Watch List

SPRINGFIELD, MA — Senior Mir McLean of the ten^th-ranked Maryland girls’s basketball staff was named to the Katrina McClain Watch List Thursday by the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.
 
The Katrina McClain Award, now in its ninth yr, acknowledges the highest energy forwards in girls’s NCAA Division I school basketball. It is known as after the two-time All-American, 1987 National Player of the Year, and Class of 2012 Hall of Famer.
