PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania males’s and girls’s cross nation groups journey to Bronx, N.Y. on Friday to compete on the 2025 Ivy League Heptagonal Cross Country Championships, hosted by Columbia.

2025 Regular Season Highlights
Senior Lily Murphy positioned 10th on the Paul Short Run recording a personal-best 6k time of 20:01.0. She was first on the Main Line Invitational with a 5k personal-best time of 16:48.6.
Lara Cota completed second on the Jersey Jam on Sept. 5 recording a personal-best 4.1k time of 14:07.4. Cota ran a 6k time of 20:51.7 on the Paul Short Run. Gabby Jones adopted intently behind at 20:51.9. Jones recording a personal-best 6k time of 20:50.3 on the Princeton Fall Classic.
The girls’s group gained the season opener at Princeton scoring 32 factors. Cota took second, adopted by Jones in fourth, Izzy Rodriguez in fifth, L’Mio Edwards in ninth, and Kyra Compton in 12th.
Penn males gained the Main Line Invitational at Haverford with 24 factors. Sahil Dodda led the group clocking in first with a personal-best four-mile time of 19:19.6. Kofi Fordjour positioned third at 19:37.6, adopted by Shane Murphy in fourth at 19:38.7, Esfan Daya in seventh, and Vinay Raman in ninth.

Penn males completed fourth with 101 factors. Penn girls positioned seventh with 149 factors.
