Three Huskies Named to Naismith Trophy Watch List

STORRS, Conn.  – UConn ladies’s basketball graduate pupil Azzi Fudd, senior Serah Williams and sophomore Sarah Strong had been named to the 2025-26 Naismith Women’s Player of the Year Trophy Watch List Thursday.

Fudd returns to Storrs for her ultimate collegiate season after being named the 2025 NCAA Final Four Most Outstanding Player. She averaged 17.5 factors within the 2025 NCAA Tournament and 22 factors per recreation within the Final Four. Fudd was a 2025 All-BIG EAST First Team and BIG EAST All-Tournament Team choice and led the Huskies in three-point proportion (.436) final season.
