Swimming to host USI and Butler for first residence meet of the season

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Bellarmine University swim groups return to the pool this Saturday, November 1, internet hosting the primary meet at Mary T. Meagher Aquatic Center this season because the Knights welcome University of Southern Indiana and Butler for the John Brucato Memorial/ALS Awareness Meet.

The Knights males’s staff will tackle USI whereas the ladies will tackle USI and Butler because the Bulldogs should not have a males’s staff.

Bellarmine will honor the life and influence of John Brucato, former head coach, founding father of the BU swim program and BU Athletics Hall of Fame member, on the meet in addition to elevate consciousness for ALS, a illness Brucato fought valiantly for years.
