Couple assist safe women on curler coaster after alleged seat belt malfunction at Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, Missouri

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Roller coaster rides reportedly turned from thrills to scares for a number of current company at Worlds of Fun.

One day after that incident, a visitor reported one other alleged seat belt malfunction on the Mamba.

A mom stated she shouted that her son’s seat belt hadn’t locked because the automobiles entered their first climb.

This time, the journey reportedly stopped, and the seat belt, which the mom stated was twisted and unfastened, was adjusted.

“We probably won’t go back for a while,” Cassie Evins stated. “We need to see the change, and once we see that change, I will be comfortable taking my four children, who I am not comfortable taking currently.”

Inspectors from the Missouri Division of Fire Safety reportedly went to guage the coaster Thursday morning.

They informed one of many affected company {that a} journey inspector found some restraint units that had been “not functioning properly” on the Mamba, and the journey was taken out of service till repairs had been made, which had been anticipated to be accomplished Thursday or Friday.
