Ladies’s Swimming and Diving Knocks Off Brockport, 197-103

BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The SUNY Geneseo girls’s swimming and diving crew traveled to Brockport on Friday night, and earned a 197-103 victory. The win marks the Knights fifth-straight to open up the season.

Abby Funk gave Geneseo a scorching begin to the meet, taking first total within the 1000 yard freestyle, posting a time of 10:51.17. Teammates Hannah Brockman and Maura O’Donnell made it a clear sweep of the top-three within the occasion. Erin Johannsen stored the successful methods going within the 100 yard backstroke, posting a time of 1:01.86, then Chloe Marcyan adopted swimsuit within the 100 yard breaststroke at 1:11.14.

Geneseo then closed out the swimming portion of the meet within the 200 yard freestyle relay, because the crew of Sibby Lowe, Johannsen, Sotek, and Kaitlyn Geary took first at 1:37.66.
