Inviting Applications for the 2026 Newman Exploration Travel Fund

The WashU Libraries are actually accepting applications for the 2026 Newman Exploration Travel Fund. The fund awards as much as $10,000 per award for one undergraduate scholar scholarship, one graduate scholar scholarship, one school grant, and one employees grant for members of the Danforth, North, and West Campuses who want to discover and uncover the countless potentialities our universe provides.

Traveling into the unknown represents a singular alternative to attain myriad cultural, mental, philosophical, or educational objectives, fulfill lifelong goals, serve others, or broaden our worldviews.

Applications are due by 6 p.m. on Sunday, February 1, 2026. Submission should embody a finances, a written proposal, and a accomplished utility type. Winners might be introduced in April 2026, with awards being disbursed in May 2026. All journey should be accomplished between June and December 31, 2025. Recipients might be required to submit a post-travel report and lead a presentation within the spring of 2026 about their journey and the way it impacted them. Students graduating in 2026 are usually not eligible.
