Males’s Swimming Defeated by William Paterson

NEWBURGH, N.Y. — The Mount Saint Mary College males’s swim crew was defeated by William Paterson 139-48 Saturday afternoon.

Freshman Joseph Scarola was the highest scorer for the Knights, securing the boys’s first top-place end this season within the 500 Yard Freestyle with a time of 6:07.68. Scarola additionally positioned second within the 1000 Yard Freestyle at 13:03.66 and third within the 100 Yard Butterfly at 1:05.48 for 16 factors. Marcus Innamorato added two second-place finishes within the 500 Yard Freestyle at 6:09.29 and the 100 Yard Freestyle, and a top-three end within the 200 Yard Freestyle with a time of two:09.69

“I saw a lot of progress out of our guys,” mentioned Head Coach Chris Mance. “They improved on their times from our first meet and continue to get better with each practice.”
