DALLAS (AP) — Boopie Miller and B.J. Edwards every scored 20 as SMU dealt with Tarleton State 96–76 on Monday in a collection opener for each groups.

Edwards went 7 of 12 from the sphere and 4 of 5 on the line with 4 assists, whereas Miller completed 4 of 9, hit an ideal 11-11 free throws and added 5 rebounds.

Corey Washington gave the Mustangs punch on the rim with 16 factors on 7 of 9 taking pictures, and heart Samet Yigitoglu posted 12 factors, eight boards and three blocks.

Jaron Pierre Jr. drilled a nook 3 with three seconds left within the first half to ship SMU to the break up 48–38.
