Ukrainian Photographer and Marine Officer Kostiantyn Huzenko, 28, Killed in Motion — UNITED24 Media

Kostiantyn Huzenko, a 28-year-old celebrated Ukrainian documentary and inventive photographer, was killed on the frontline whereas serving as a press officer with the thirty fifth Separate Marine Brigade named after Rear Admiral Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi.

Before the warfare, Huzenko was greatest recognized for his poignant images and deep visible storytelling as a part of the Ukraїner staff. Born in Kyiv, he joined the venture in 2020, rapidly turning into a very important voice in capturing Ukraine’s various areas, individuals, and spirit.

But after Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022, his work shifted towards documenting the impression of the warfare.

In 2025, he took half in On the Line of Frame, a video sequence by the Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers, highlighting army personnel with a background in images who continued to have interaction with their career whereas in service.
