‘Winter in The Woodlands’ Exhibition opens at TWAC Gallery

The Woodlands Arts Council (TWAC) is happy to announce the opening of its latest exhibition, “Winter in The Woodlands,” a pictures showcase that includes finalists from the neighborhood contest. The exhibition celebrates the artistic imaginative and prescient of native photographers who captured and preserved the stunning winters with snow in The Woodlands. The present might be on show from November 4, 2025, by February 5, 2026, on the TWAC Gallery, with a gap reception on November 6, from 6:00 PM to eight:00 PM.

While snow is an unusual sight in The Woodlands, the few winter storms over the previous 5 years have left an enduring impression on residents and artists alike. Just a few snowy days can fill the neighborhood with pleasure and pleasure, turning parks, pathways, and even streets into scenes of marvel that reside past reminiscence and are preserved in pictures capturing the serene magnificence and essence of winter. From enchanting winter landscapes to beloved landmarks remodeled by snow, these pictures mirror magical moments of nature that enhanced the spirit of the season in The Woodlands.

This exhibition invitations guests to pause and admire The Woodlands by the lenses of native photographers who interpret the moods, textures, and great thing about winter within the area. It offers a chance to showcase those that preserved the fantastic thing about these thrilling days in our neighborhood.

“Winter in The Woodlands” displays TWAC’s mission to create a powerful and very important arts presence within the space by highlighting the expertise inside our neighborhood. The present options the competition finalists, whose works have been chosen for his or her distinctive means to seize the second. Finalists embrace Dulce Arelys Gomez Abraham, Kathleen Adey, Elena Agostini, Kayla Bachmeyer, Katherine Borey, Betty-Ann Brose, Jamar Carrington, Nancy Charbonneau, Dennis Chernov, Sakshi Chugh, Stacey Cox, Jeanine Garrett, Nathaniel Holt, Scott Kahney, Emery Oliphant, Julie Pelosi, Evelyn Reinhardt, Vance Schwantes, Zach Thoms, Gustavo von Zeska de Franca, Heather Wasaff, and Remington White.

Entries have been juried anonymously, and chosen finalists have been invited to exhibit their works as a part of this neighborhood showcase. Winners might be introduced in the course of the Opening Reception, and prizes might be awarded for each class: skilled photographer, novice photographer, faculty/highschool pupil, and youth.

“We are delighted to present this collection of photographs that reflect both the beauty and the extraordinary nature of winter in The Woodlands,” stated photographer and Montgomery resident Patti Gary, choose of the Winter in The Woodlands contest. An award-winning fine-art photographic artist recognized for her eclectic and genuine strategy, Gary brings a discerning eye for emotion and element to each picture she evaluations. “These images remind us that even brief moments of cold and quiet can reveal something extraordinary about our shared environment, connecting artistry with the beauty of truth found in nature.”
