A Fang-Tastic Morning of Fun at Viewpoint’s Annual Great Pumpkin Day Celebration

Since 1964, Viewpoint’s college students have celebrated Great Pumpkin Day, a beloved custom that continues to convey pleasure and creativity to the campus every Halloween season. On the morning of Friday, October 31, our youngest college students arrived in costume as ghosts, superheroes, princesses, pirates, and extra, prepared for a day filled with frightful enjoyable and faculty spirit.

After a morning of trick-or-treating round campus, college students, dad and mom, school, and employees crammed the Paul Family Athletic Center (PFAC) for the annual Great Pumpkin Day Assembly. The program opened with remarks from Mrs. Corneau, Mrs. Kessler, and Mr. Shojinaga earlier than every grade took the stage to share their Halloween spirit by way of tune. 

Third Grade college students kicked issues off with “Pumpkin Jack,” adopted by the First Grade efficiency of “Heffalumps and Woozles.” Fourth Grade college students carried out “Halloween Witches” on Orff devices, whereas Second and Fifth Grade college students sang “Ghostbusters” and “Monster Mash.” Kindergarten closed the category performances with “Halloween Parade,” and the meeting concluded with TK college students becoming a member of collectively on stage for “Witches’ Brew.”
