“The land of the free, because of the brave.” Tuesday, Nov. 11, is a vital day for our nation, the day we take to honor all of those that took the final word oath, that of defending our nation, at any price, together with their very own lives. The Smile Shop of Shelby, together with Coyote Lanes, are providing a free dinner and night of bowling, trivia and prizes for all veterans and their plus one. The Veterans Day Dinner will get underway at 5:30 p.m., at Coyote Lanes, positioned at 962 Oilfield Ave., in Shelby.
