Highduch Named to Patriot League All-Academic Team

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh sophomore Kaitlyn Highduch was named to the Patriot League All-Academic Team for ladies’s cross nation, as introduced by the league on Wednesday morning.

This is Highduch’s first choice to the all-academic staff. Her choice was resulting from her glorious efficiency each on and off the path. She has maintained a 3.9 cumulative GPA as a chemical engineering main, and positioned sixteenth on the Patriot League Championship on Friday.

Highduch has been a frontrunner for the Mountain Hawks all season, ending both first or second for her staff in all 5 races she has competed in. She opened her season with a win on the Lehigh-Lafayette twin meet, serving to the Mountain Hawks to their twentieth straight win over the Leopards. Following a seventeenth place end on the Ted Owen Invitational the place she was the second Mountain Hawk to cross the road, she managed two top-61 place finishes on the Paul Short run and the Princeton Invitational as Lehigh’s main runner. 

Highduch’s and Lehigh’s subsequent race will come at residence on November 14 when the Mountain Hawks will host the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional on the Goodman Campus Cross Country Course.
