The Board of Larimer County Commissioners proclaimed the week of November 4 – 11 as Operation Green Light for all Veterans for serving our nation at their Administrative Matters assembly. 

Operation Green Light is a nationwide recognition that began in 2021 in New York and can also be acknowledged by the National Association of Counties [NACo] and the National Association of County Veterans Service Officers [NACVSO].

Staff from Larimer County Veteran Service previewed Operation Green Light and its significance to the group.

From November 4 – 11, 2025, each the Larimer County Administrative Services Building in Fort Collins and the Larimer County Loveland Campus constructing will likely be lit with inexperienced energy-saving LED lights on timers to represent gratitude and help for our Veterans.
